Nice November day to take a picture of this 1966 Chev Pick-up. Note: I owned this model many years before I discovered the grille was installed upside down

The short box Chevys and GMCs of this era were really nice looking and now of course many are rodded to various degrees.

Yeah; but the pristine stock ones are OH so sharp! I always favored and owned the short bed pickups.

@perrone1 For sure Tony; I prefer stock by far but do appreciate the rodded ones as most are suspension and drive train alterations.  The basic look of this truck is awesome.

Yesterday in traffic a guy passed by me driving a new Ford F-150 Short box in medium gray metallic.  It shocked me and made me realize that so few are actually sold these days.  The one I saw was really nice looking; you won't be surprised to know that a retired guy was driving it.

I sold my last pick up about a year ago. Bought new, it was our kayak hauler, a 2013 F-150 short bed in Race Red. I miss it a lot sometimes:
