This scene went off in it`s own direction .....as they sometimes do when the plastic talent makes it desires known.....intended as a light,eye-candy bit with sugar plums et al.....it went where the little people pulled it

Chief Pawlenfines found a hotter spot for the "mystic travelin`tree lot"

…great little money maker spot over in the old industrial park……. Once a tough place, with tough people….now the hangout of the chic and the tragically hip

…took longer to get set up than anyone had imagined …..freezing cold and nasty rain through it all….. aside from a single tree the weird Potter kid was attempting to load on the Sweeney`s `46, nothing at all had graced the cash box this evening.....Mayor Sweeney would do nothing to change that status quo

...With the hangdog frustration borne of bone-chilling shitwork, and the awful realization that no one would take home any scratch today,one thing led to another ….Alice took it upon herself to check the Chief for any new merit badges he might have inadvertently mis-mounted. Axle Poley took it all in, steam rising from his cap. A dagger-shooting glance from Sister Dorothy was enough to convince Alice to eventually try a different dance partner…..maybe sometime before tempers and limbs were irretrievably lost

….when someone in the lower level bar across the way opened a door to let some of the smoke go free-range, strains of “watchtower” drifted, almost hypnotically, over our very huddled masses

......A big bottle of mescal seemed to produce itself, unheralded, but universally appreciated…..by the time the bottle had made it halfway around the wet, cold,motley crew, another one had been uncorked and put into service.......

….in the end,as “lot days” go, it was a pretty good day
