Panel trucks
First Gear has a 1956 Dodge Panl Truck 1:25 scale and I know that Danbury and Franklin have also released panels from the '50s...but who has the 1964 panel truck model I missed on Enay and where can I get it?
Or is anyone releasing a panel circa 1960 - 1970?
I have moved on from Sedan Deliveries to panels and now have a 1:1 1965 1-ton GMC - I'd post a photo but I don't know how - Thanks and Happy Easter!
1st Gear Panel
First gear's 1/25 International panel is actually a 1953 and the current version is a Travelal (windowed). It is a really excellent model with lots of detail and great proportions (much better proportions than Danbury managed with their pick-ups and panels. They will evidently be following the Travelall with a panel version but unfortunately, according to their website, will use the Travelall style tailgate. Perhaps they'll come to their senses and do the correct double doors when the time comes.
First Gear also does a nice 1/25 scale current Dodge panel van (econoline style van) called a Tradesman (?) if memory serves. I may be wrong on the exact name of the Dodge van.
SpecCast also used to make a few panel vans including a '50 (or so)Ford F1, a '57 Dodge (too long to be accurate), '57 Ford Courier, '64 Dodge A100 and a '67 or '68 Chevy. Although SpecCast's vans were often called 1/25 scale, they were really a little smaller than that.
The First Gear vans are really up-to -date in level of detail and fit/finish etc and are really well priced and currently available. I'm a real fan of the Travelalls.

Cliff - well said
The clam shell doors are not a "panel attribute" - too bad for 1st Gear. - An associate in a 1st Gear booth at CON EXPO said it was a '56 - thanks for clearing it up.
