Oh yeah!!! That's one aggressive bad boy!!
If I could only get my hands on one. I'd remove the side rear windows though lol. 😊
Geno, I know you know your cars. But is that a 70 and not a 71. I have the CP identical to that, but it says it is a 70. I actually have 9 CP's in different colors and all say 70.
@carsman1958: '70 Chevelles had the turn signals integrated into the bumper. '71 Chevelles had a 2-piece turn signal next to the headlamps at the corner of the fenders, the '72's had a single turn signal at the corner of the front fender.

@geno Geno: Interesting. I have never seen a CP 71 and I use to shop for them a lot in the past. That is how I ended up with 9 70's. Now I will have to start looking. The other thing is I never knew CP to make a limited edition as most of their models were sold to companies and organizations with their logos added.
@bec23145 Brian, thanks for the clarification. I did not see the turn signals on the original photo as it was a side shot. But you are correct about that.
@carsman1958 John, I hadn't neither until I came across one just browsing. I have a buddy that used to get me the new CP models when they came out as he was a distributor for NAPA. I'm waiting for him to get back with me. I just talked with him this morning. I'm hoping he can score one for me. 👍
Wow, I didn't know the 71 had been made in 1/24. I 've been looking for one. I have some Maistos n 1/18 but they have vinyl roofs. I also have some 1/64ths. When I had my Chevelle, I converted a 72 to a 71.
@geno Geno: I used to have a contact at the Napa warehouse in Charlotte, NC. He would just send out the cars and trucks to the local Napa store with my name on them and informed me when he sent them. Unfortunately he left the company and I was no longer able to get any more. I think he was let go and I never got the name of the person that took his place to see if I could continue to get them. It is amazing when you have something good and then it goes south.
