PIC: According to a "reliable source" at DM. The '69 Plymouth
Road Runner due in October , Item #0440-0438, the 440 6bbl. will be this:
Well, there's som $$$$ I'll be saving.
I hope not. Not only is it the same color as the Super Bee but it has a vinyl roof.
If this iteration is confirmed I will be canceling my order on this particular car.
I'll be saving money, as I won't order it. I'm done with late 60's muscle.
Unless it's an Olds, I'm not buying anymore cars over 1966. I've got enough of them, and as far as I'm concerned, they all look alike.

It will be an automatic purchase for me! Love the 6 Pack!
Lose the vinyl and orange color
One orange" lift off hood" car is enough...*pic* (the DM Dodge Super Bee). I'd rather see the Plymouth version in yellow, rally green or B5 blue maybe, although DM has pretty much used up the good colors from Mopar on their other offerings. I owned the 1:1 Roadrunner pictured below in the 80's...it was K2 Vitamin C orange, lighter and brighter than Hemi orange. Really popped. Regardless of color, these were great cars.
Guess I'll pick up the slack.I'll buy any Mopar Muscle car they make.
Most would say, "any color but orange". For good reason.
I seriously doubt DM would do the 440-6 Road Runner the same color as the 440-6 Super Bee. No way!
It's Mopar Muscle, I'm a buyer, Appears to be V2 vs. K2
The Plymouth appears to be V2 Tor Red where the the Super Bee is K2 Vitamin C Orange. do wish it didn't have the vinyl roof, don't understand why the Road Runners are all equipped with the V/Rs while the Super Bees aren"t...strange.
I bet you wish you still had it. I bet that thing was fun to drive.
