Looks good John. Rarely does M2 do models in 1/24 scale.

1:24 scale, the most forgotten scale.  So sad.  It's now been a decade since Danbury and Franklin stopped giving us heaven in diecast on a steady diet.

Nice score John. I've got probably a dozen or more M2 1/24's. Love every one of them.💯👍

@georgeschire I think we all miss FM and DM but time moves on. The beauty, or curse, of my collecting is that I haven't missed a beat as 1/43 scale models has been on fire for years and the number of releases of cars I never thought would be made, is an all time high. I realize you don't like 1/43 but I love them and the quality available is tremendous.

@bob-jackman Bob:  M2 has been doing 1/24 for a long time.  I currently have 45 models made by them.  A lot are duplicates with different decaling and motor config's, but they all look really good and go nicely with the DM, FM, GMP and WCPD models.  As well as the First Gear, and Crown Premiums models I have.  Sometimes it is hard to tell where it came from.

@bob-jackman Bob, I do agree with you on the 1/43 models.  It is amazing how many come out along with 1/18, but we can only get a handful of cheap 1/24 models.  If it was a space requirement, then I would have thought the the 1/18 models would disappear, but that is not the case.  I would collect 1/43 models as most of what I have seen are done quite nicely, but still it is a space problem for me.  With over 1000 diecast some 250 plastic kits I have built, my office/car room is runneth over and my wife is not overly pleased.  She sees these as a waste of time and money, unlike your wife which enjoys them with you.  The next available bedroom that comes open when one of my last 2 kids move out, will become a craft room for her.

@carsman1958 I agree John. The other brands are as good as the Mint cars and some better, especially compared to the earlier Mint versions. Not a single one I have look out of place with my Mint cars.💯😊

Mr. Jackman, I hear you loudly about the 1:43 releases.  But I've never purchased one and I never will.  They're just too small for my taste.  So I guess for me, size matters.

Sad

Maybe I'm crazy, but they can crank out new, nicely detailed 1/18 diecast at a reasonable price. But no one can do them in 1/24. Seems it'd cost more to make a larger die for these than 1/24. 🤔 I don't believe CP, M2, or any of the other fairly detailed makers have actually done anything "new" recently, other than repaint, minor changes.

@carsman1958 John, I have more M2s than I thought. I never kept the boxes for those as I have for the mint cars so I didn't realize how many I had.

@bob-jackman Bob the only reason I knew exactly how many as I have a spreadsheet with every model I have both is diecast and plastic.  Great for insurance purposes.
