Nice photos, as usual, John. I have a question....

How does the Sun Star 1965 look in person? I'd be inclined to pick one up except the roof line seems a bit awkward.

Nice Impalas / great pics...especially of the '65.

I recently bought the Welly '65 Impala / blue. It's decent for $40 - new.

It looks OK to me. If it is off I don't see it or it is very slight.

That '65 Impala really looks good for the money..

I've seen them at toy shows but would pass them up because the detailing is not as good as the mints. But from the pics they do look like they're worth considering. And the price isn't bad either.

PIC - John K., I agree with you. It just doesn't look right to me.....

Compare it to a 1:1 shot and there are some subtle differences....

I flipped this pic to be like the other shot....

The doors appear to be a bit short also.

Mark, I have no doubt that Moe & DM would have done a 65 Impala just as they would have done a 63 Bird if the die-cast world hadn't been turned upside down. Moe is a car guy and the 65 Impala is a car for any car guys collection. JMO.

This was my first new car.
