This is a 1955 Oldsmobile 88 convertible in blue and white. They also do a version in 1/18th scale, too, and both are really nice diecast models of this car. It is quite inexpensive but a well done model of this great Fifties car.

Ooops, Geoff, I forgot to say this '55 Olds is from Welly, who also do the 1/18 one, too.

This year and also the '52 in 2drht. form are my favorite Oldsmobiles from this decade.

Great photos Mike. I always like the ones with working lights. I know the model is by Welly, I've never seen anything but photos, how does it compare in size to the DM version? Is it scaled correctly?

Thanks, John ! A rough measure of just the the wheelbase of this Welly '55 Olds seems to indicate a scale of 1/26.9. It looks proportional, so other measurements are probably similar. I haven't measured other model 1955 Oldsmobiles in 1/24, 1/18 and 1/43, so I am not sure what the scale range is.
