Here is another awesome Chris Senyitko modification. Although I also have the original edition, I never really cared for the three color combination so had it modified as a two-tone modeled after a 55 Roadmaster that I googled. Also added the wire wheels and I think the color and wheel combination elevated the car to an entirely different level. Again, your thoughts?

Works for me. But, I agree with Phil - that 'bottom' color looks 'grey/green'...not black.

Either way I like it better then the red over salmon. IMO those 2 colors just don’t work together.

The gray is probably the reflection of light bouncing off the base
It goes all the way to the belt line trim.
Here's an all black Batmobile that's gray to the belt line where the body is rounded.

Those that see gray or green are "overthinking" it. Looks black and yellow to me...........
Color selection is a personal choice. I would have picked the factory blue and white two-tone and left the full wheel covers in place. IMO, this blue/white color combo represents what a Roadmaster 4-dr HT should look like. The original 3-tone is hideous, but I bought it anyway.

Black is not a color. It's an absence of color, so it is a perfect substrate for any reflective colors. When you hold the model, your brain compensates and you'll see the shiny black over the reflections.
Sometimes I'll put a black panel to block the angle of reflection and then digitally erase it. Or, in this case, shoot it over a matte black panel.
It will give you that perfect black.
