This one was actually from Signature Models inexpensive 1/32 series of diecast models, but it would make a terrific replica (Belvedere, Fury or Savoy) in 1/24 or 1/18 scale, too. Plymouths looked great for 1956 and showed off a fin-tastic refresh of the superb and very successful "Forward Look" Chrysler Corp/Exner designs for '55.

Love this one. I have it too, did they issue it in other colors?

WOW! It's almost identical to my old resin kit build of a Modelhaus 1/25 Belvedere.  Forgive the poor quality of the two old pics I managed to find.

They did at least one other color scheme, John, and I got a nice red/black version at the same time as first one. Sadly, it has suffered badly from zamac corrosion, so it could only appear now in a junkyard scene. Here it is when it was new :

Great looking '56's.  For sure I'd have been all over it in 1:24 scale.  Thanks for sharing the pics.

I would have loved to have one in 1:24 scale.
