Seriously Dennis Mong? I think you respectfully need to realize that not all of us have to agree on what cars we think are nice looking. I said I think Corvette's are butt ugly cars, but you (and a few others) seem to feel that someone not thinking they are gorgeous cars is not right. And now you attempt to stir up trouble with comments that are disrespectful. We're not in grade school anymore Dennis!
I am fully aware that my not liking the styling of Corvette's puts me in the vast minority of (perhaps most) American males, but am I not entitled to "my opinion"? I understand the history and impact Corvette's have had on the American automobile. But that doesn't mean that I have agree they are nice looking cars, when in fact to my eyes they are not.
You might want to realize Dennis, that not all of us have to like the same cars, and I assure your we don't. It is very immature of you to attack me.

George, I don't believe that Dennis' comments (nor mine nor anyone elses) are at all disrespectful. I think they were all made "tongue-in-cheek" to your comment that the Corvette is butt-ugly. Indeed, you and everyone else are certainly entitled to your opinion.
I think the responses more reflect the idea that you have issued a simple statement, butt-ugly, to cover 63 years of one marque. Speaking only for myself, I find it interesting that 63 years of any one automobile can be classified by anyone as butt-ugly.
Again, butt-ugly is your opinion and that's perfectly fine. But the ensuing comments were not made to disrespect you as a person - only the butt-ugly comment. And, again, speaking just for myself, that was the intent of any of my posts in regards to your original post. You're OK in my book.
Now, if we really want to get into butt-ugly cars, we should really start with the Pontiac Aztec. Now THAT can truly be classified as butt-ugly.
My apologies, in advance, to all of those dyed-in-the-wool Pontiac fans out there....:)):D
George I think you meant to say minority in your post not majority
Am I right?
Rick Scoville, I take no offense at anyone's opinion. And I agree with you about the Aztec. But you also proved my point, that there are cars out there that are just not appealing. Yes, some more than others, but none the less they can get an "ugly" tag. And LOL, just for the record, to my eyes, not a single Corvette in 63 years has been appealing to me. I'm in the MINORITY with that opinion, I know, but my opinion it is.
With regard to Dennis Mong's comment, YES, it was an attack. He posted, "I love Corvette's...AND...I think RUDE Negative people are butt ugly!!!!!"
Thanks for your respectful comments Rick! You're okay in my book too.
