Never saw this one before...very cool John.
Very nice pics. Black models are usually very hard to shoot. Well Done.
You aren't kidding. If I remember correctly. It took three tries for me to be happy!

Such a beautiful car and model. Awesome photos!
Very nice pictures John! Bravo 😊
It's not easy to photograph that model or black models in general . This is a very historically important car that I'm happy to have in my collection. while it's not ground breaking with respect to features or innovations the shape and stance is accurate and the shut lines are minimal. My main gripe on this model was the molded in windshield wipers. In a "precision model" that's " miles ahead" as TFM tauted they should have been either separate photo etched parts or casted and plated wipers. Molded in ones are something you would expect on a $7.99 toy car!
Side note: the grille is very interestingly done and is like no other model in our collections. FM first some how casted in the shape/details of the grille into the diecast hood and then silvered it with some type of chromium paint or thin plating. The end result is very authentic and delicate looking BUT very vulnerable!!!!! When I got this model i cautioned everyone to NOT touch the grille nor attempt to clean it or polish it as that silvering will get damaged! Thanks for the memories as I was very excited when this one arrived, still love it and she's a must have.
John, great model and great pics! I also got this one when it was issued. I took heed of the "do not touch" grill and "do not touch" running boards and also was somewhat disappointed that the wipers were molded in. All that aside, it's a great model of a very important vehicle.
Mine still looks mint in the display case. One of my favs!
Aww man ... I want one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dennis you need to get a second job to get all you want. LOL
This car was a work of art with great presentation.
Another split-window coupe.
