Funny thing about this car. When it was released I ordered it, but never got it. I called DM once after waiting for it, for what seemed like a long time, and was told it was on back order. Still never got it.

Ah. this was the model I got that introduced me to the superlative DM customer service

Three months after getting the model,
I thought I was a real careful guy back then. and my fingers were not nearly as sausage like. well I broke the folding center seat. I called DM, and asked if I could buy parts for the model, thinking it was much too long to complain about defects, and besides, I honestly told the woman on the phone, that it was my fault it was broken. She simply said she would send me a shipping label for my broken model, and was sending me another brand new Chrysler with no added costs..... i'm not even sure this was a good financial plan on DM's part. but I was a committed and loving buyer from then on! still have the second T&C. one of my all time favs.

Your story of outstanding DM customer service is one that I second all the way. In my 65 years of existence on this planet, DM is the best company I've ever dealt with for customer service. They know how to do it right and always do.

But Christopher, I did chuckle when I read your story about your getting a "replacement" Chrysler, as maybe you got the one that I was supposed to get, but never did. Smile

See my post above about my never getting the car.

Again though, DM is over the top great with their customer service!!!

George, DM reissued this model in green after the black one.

It would seem like you would have had a chance to obtain it as it is every bit as nice as the black one.

I agree with George.

John, your photos are the main thing that keep me coming back to this site. I cannot tell you how much I enjoy seeing your photos every day. You are a true inspiration.

42 Chrysler

I have the black and the green one. Prefer the green one as the wood paneling is darker and highlights the car better.
