If the price was right. Not really a convertible guy. But maybe one day.
CONGRATS! Now...that'swhat is called a 'Continental'-display.
Have those + the convertible... spectacular group of cars!!
Hollis.. Congrats my friend - I am so happy with you & for your dreams to come true
What a great collection and a great looking family
Congratulations Hollis
Job well done my friend
Good for you Hollis. Now continue the fun by hunting for the D4C convertible.
Great looking group of Lincolns
Anyone have the BLUE one for sale? Need it to complete my collection of Lincolns
Yes Phil it's a great color. The interior color to me is rather orangey and detracts from the model. At least that was the case many years ago when I had one but have not seen one in person since. Colors are perceived differently though.
Congratulations! I have the back and red versions.
Goes to show you CAN always get what you want! It just may take a while.
Actually, they were not "Lincolns." Continental was a new, separate division of FoMoCo.
Of course, that corporate setup only lasted two years as the '56 & '56 Continental were money losers for Ford. But that didn't matter. They were built as fine, prestige, image vehicles.
Have them all. Great pieces of American fifties art.
