(PICS) First Gear's '61 Ford Econoline van
Although this one is not endowed with a lot of operating or opening detail, I did find it proportionate and quite attractive. First Gear also produced the pickup version of the Econoline.

I gotta get one, paint it dark blue like the one my Dad had for his business 'Town &
Country Electric' in the Western New York / Buffalo area. I remember sitting on the engine cover to keep warm in the Winter as Dad would let me put on all the switch plate and outlet covers on after wiring up a house. Screws were always aligned N / S. Lol, great memories for a 7yr old kid..working for his Dad !

Great pictures Clifford. Thanks, They have a lot of really nice 1/24- 1/25 diecasts. Most recently though the working features are not there like on some of their past vehicles. The International Scout was one of their last ones also nice but with limited working features. First gear did a lot of hot rod cars for both Carquest and Napa back in the 2000's-2010 period.

Cleveland Ohio Fulton Rd. Dad worked for the railroad (New York Central - Pullman Co) in 1952 saw the handwriting on the wall for train VS airlines and bought a small one bay station one block from James Ford Rhodes high school. We lived in another burb

Same here. My grandpa had one of these.
He was an installer for Sears home improvements. I would help him in the summers and have to sit on the engine cover on a pad (to keep the heat at bay). Someday... Grandpa's was like a Wimbledon white or something. The Previous owner had installed tiny little roll out storm windows in the sides. I need one of these loaded with attic turbine vents - we installed tons of those.
