PICS: My WISH LIST 1:24 die-cast car #49 1941 PONTIAC
The last hurrah before the war and it's a beauty. Many body styles, all "I gotta have cars" and their not Chevy's or Ford's.
To my thinking, Pontiac always had a mystique about it and sometimes seemed to be the forgotten car in the General Motors ladder of cars. I knew a lot people as a kid growing up in the 50's that would talk about Chevy's and Oldsmobile's, and Buick had its discussion points too, but Pontiac seemed to be sort of lost in the mix.
The reality was that there was a Pontiac for every taste. If you preferred a 4-door sedan, you could have it. And if a 2-door was your forte, you had a choice of a sedan and the attractive "Business Coupe". And of course if you need extra room for the kids, a Pontiac station wagon was available for you too.
For sure in 1:24 scale, these little babies would be "Wow Factors" on any collector shelf. I'd add all body styles and all colors to mine!

YES-SIR-EE!!!
Excellent choice!
Good God I'd be all over these.
I know I sound like a broken record but there are three 41 Pontiac models available in 1/43 scale including the Streamliner coupe, sedan and Station wagon.
Nothing wrong with sounding like a broken record Bob. For those that want 1:43 scale, it is good that you make them aware that models are available.
And hey my friend, I've never sounded like a broken record, right? How many times have you (and others) heard that I don't like the '61 Lincoln, that I love the '57 Oldsmobile, and that I only collect 1940 to 1970 1:24 and no Corvette's?
For everyone that has read that a dozen times here, there is always a new poster that hasn't. So your advising that cars are available in 1:43 is always a good refresher.
Thanks again Bob!

For the collector of 43rd you've got yourself a beauty here but for the collector of 1/24, all we can do is hope.
And they are exceptional models.
