(PICS) Since Bob Jackman and Dennis Mong asked.....Here are some of my diecast mods over the years..

All of these modified 1/24 or 1/25 diecasts have been done from inexpensive, damaged or undesireable (like the FM "Rockin' Rod) models bought at toy shows, flea-markets or on Ebay, etc.
My taste in hot rods is strictly traditional, '50s and early '60s style so I may be a bit of a 'one trick pony' when it comes to my diecast mods. Delightfully, many of these models have been featured in model magazines....mostly Model Cars Magazine, since they aren't stuck on plastic models only.
I've done plenty of other mods in other scales...1/18, 1/43, etc., and my twin brother, Larry has also modified quite a few diecast models over the last few years, but here are most of mine that are appropriate scale for Forum 24.

Cliff, I've seen your work first hand and know how beautiful they are. As good as the pics are they're way better seeing them in person.

How?? .... Where? .... Who? .... Oh forget it - I'm tongue tied ... Smile
I really do not have a command of the English tongue to be able to describe the outstanding quality of your creations.

How do you it?

Where do you find the parts? ... and if you tell me "I make them" ... I'll scream out loud and slam my head into the wall .... he he he he he

Seriously ... there is no way I could even possibly begin to get started ... much less tear one apart with out breaking everything I touch

Your skills are very impressive.

If you ever implement a die cast car rebuilding apprenticeship ... I'll be very proud to sign up.

Job well done.

You done good.

Thank you for the time and your photo submissions

If you have the time ... you can always drop me a line

Cliff, I think all of us would like to see your other scale stuff too even though they're not 1:24.
