I picked this one up ridiculously cheap as it was missing the antennas. Quickly replaced with some straight pins, added a personalized plate and a good polishing, and that's it. I originally wasn't crazy about the color combo, I was going to repaint it,  but it's grown on me so I believe I'll leave it as is. I've always liked the Edsels, I thought they were neat, in their own unique way. 😊

I remember buying this from Franklin Mint back in 1993 when then first came out with it. I have always liked the Edsels. I eventually got all four of the Edsels that Franklin made along with the two that Danbury made. I wish I had a 1959 and a 1960 in my fleet, but I never really looked for a manufacturer of these years in diecast. I think you have renewed my interest and I will start looking. Thanks!

I've always liked the color of this one. Of the four issued by FM, it is the most distinctive and unusual.

@chevelle1967 Douglas this is an easy to assemble pre-painted 1/25 AMT Pacer kit. I was really pleased to be able to add a hardtop to the convertible and wagon. Unfortunately it does show up as 1/25 when nose to tail, but that is hardly noticeable when viewed front on. Yours looks good parked in the driveway Geno!

Geoff, I don't think it looks too out of place since the Pacer was a shorter car on a shorter wheelbase than the Citation. It looks extremely close to the same length as the wagon, which also would have been on the shorter wheelbase. I may need to get one of those hardtop, it looks great.💯😎

Nice job Geno! I bought mine for the same reason - cheap due to missing antennas. Yes, I used the same as replacements.
