OK, after a brief absence from a few things, I'm back with a Model Dose for today. As with the previous entries, DM excelled in their wood-bodied models. This Buick is no exception and a beautiful example of Buick's top of the line Roadmaster.

1947 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon - issued in 2007, LE #934 of 5000 in Royal Maroon.

For DM, a positive work of model art. Fantastic subject matter, excellent fidelity to real, wonderful working features and beautifully photographed!

Though I was never a fan of station wagons or the wood on them, I do have this model and I love it.  Danbury Mint just out-did themselves with every inch of this model being replicated to perfection.  Looking at the pictures, great as they are, don't do the model justice.  If you own this model, race to your shelves and give it an "in person" look over.  It's fabulous!

Remember the days when a "Limited Edition" was 5000? And we rushed to buy one before they were sold out. LOL Beautiful pics, John.
