David, appreciate your perspective ...

"dull and boring" is much more descriptive. I've seen these only in movies and at car shows, so can't speak from personal experience. Won't argue further about the aesthetics... Have only one color of the FM replicas that I acquired mostly because of my interest in rarities and preproduction artifacts.

George you and everyone else have a right to disagree, you go out of your way to be harsh and.......

offensive.

George, none of those words can be construed as offensive. UGLY can. That's the point you miss.

How can you have lived this long and not realize that?

George, I personally love your approach and comments here. IMO, you're a breath of fresh air even though there are many times that I don't agree with you. That's what makes us all unique.

Dennis I have this model and love it! It has a certain simplistic charm IMO.

Why continue to use that specific word - UGLY -when you already know it offends others??

Why do that when there are many other ways to express the same sentiment but in a kinder, gentler way? I don't get it!

An interesting car. I never thought of it as either extreme. But I do like it.

I have the 1/43 FM - bought it in the set and it got crashed, recently bought another to replace it. Also have the black 1/24. And built a 1/25 plastic waaaay back. It's a Lincoln. And not garish like some cars of the era. Not a lot of extras in the design. I'd drive a real one.

I don't think the issue is agreeing or disagreeing. It's the continual use of an ugly word - UGLY!
