I didn't see another shipping option and am alarmed by the exorbitant cost. What (if anything am I missing? I live in Michigan not Siberia ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hey Robert, I would recommend calling Legacy and ask for Michelle. She's always a huge help!

Shipping charge is $11.40 on Legacy

When you add to cart, the first thing that is shown are the shipping options. It says "Choose Shipping:"
Just check the box: "For Continental USA, UPS"
at checkout. The "Outside of the USA, USPS International" was probably checked, and that is $56.00.

Legacy Diecast = The Zone!

Legacy Diecast and Mint Models support The Zone financially! Without contributions from Legacy and Mint Models The Zone would cease to exist. In the past and in the future, it is necessary to ask for donations from members because some members purchase from other dealers.
When you order from Jim Cowen, Diecasm, or Automodello directly, a portion of the sale does not go to supporting the Zone. It is a much better deal when you order from Legacy, because you earn Legacy Points which amounts to about 8% of the purchase price earned towards another model. Plus you support the Zone!

I will match ANY price, free shipping or special offer offered! ๐Ÿ˜‰

My Duesenberg was 12.95 to ship got it last week. Michelle Matches Prices, For me if they are $1.00 higher I feel I get at least a dollar or a LOT MORE from the zone. I'm in Seattle so my freight represents the largest cost. New York to Seattle (Highest Domestic Cost)

There is an old saying that goes like this:
"When the sweetness of the LOW PRICE wears off and they are gone who are you going to ask for help" I'm staying with Michelle.

Me thinks As far as the $50goes, you must have other items that may not have shipped and when they do there will be "NO CHARGE", Of course everyone discounts that fact or feels they are "Entitled" Michelle has worked in the Industry & Franklin Mint for years and as such is VERY Knowledgible, her prices are on par or lower than most others. Once you do business with one of the others and have a problem you will realize the Value of she and her services to us Forum Members.

You could also have checked an off shore shipping rate or maybe erroneously checked a wrong box and the Computer did IT? Maybe, Just Maybe Robert? I'm sure a phone call to Michelle would fix things too! Dues and the Annual Drive for Funds as well as the Legacy Motors/Mint Models contributions is what keeps us all enjoying The Forums so when the time comes I hope you also Chip In? It's our club so do you wish it to die? If not then some action on your part would be appreciated. Thank You Sir!
