Very early on, FM issued a rather ambitious model of Ford's '57 Skyliner and I was quite taken by the operating top. Enough so that I also bought the tutone blue LE of 500. Much later, employing newer tech, DM did their own Skyliner and at that stage, I retired the red/white FM to the drawer. The retractable top is nicely detailed with minimal panel gaps, the interior is exceptional from dash to upholstery and the badging is 3-D and very detailed. I pose this DM with the top in mid-opening and the tutone blue FM with the top fully up.
This is a very nice model; one of my early purchases.
Wow! That is a nice model. DM did a fine job with this one.
Rich your photo's just bring these models to life. I have this one as well and the FM, red/white, black/white and peach/white versions all prominently displayed.
These are all excellent models. DM gave us this model in three color choices, the green/white is wonderful color and a favorite in my collection.

Have this one and the red/black from Dm plus the red/white, black/white, peach/white and blue/white from FM. Like the writeup Rich.
My first FM purchase was the red/white Skyliner in '95. I also have the blue/white repaint, but I didn't get any of the DM offerings since I already had the two FMs. After seeing your pics, I think I need to get this one! Excellent detail photos Rich!
