Back in the Late Bronze Age, Franklin Mint did a pretty decent '57 Ford Skyliner. Fast forward decades later, Danbury Mint did the definitive model with mind blowing detailed mechanics. When I got a hold of this tour de force of engineering, I retired the old FM and proudly display this model with the retractable hard top at half mast. Here's mine in Cumberland Green and Colonial White.

I love the detail on this one Rich.  I didn't purchase DM's version because I already had two FMs.  I'm going to have to rectify the situation!

Rich:  I have a couple of the FM versions as well as this DM.  Love them all.  Great photos.  Always love your narrative.

Rich, I too have this model shown at half mast. Also have the red/black version along with four colors of the FM. The FM displays well but lacks the details of the DM.
