While looking at my embarrassingly small collection I realized that I may finally be very happy with it. After a long period of shuffling models around because of very limited display space, replacing models that were so-so with others that I really enjoyed, I’ve reached a point where I have all of the models I wanted. I still have about a couple of dozen models in storage, hoping to make a small display for some that I really like, but don’t fit in with this group. I was shooting for my favorite replicas of American cars from the ‘30’s to the 50’s for this display.

Love how you are displaying your collection; the wall art and vending machines just add to it.

Thanks for sharing!

great collection Kevin, as mentioned in a previous post we have very similar tastes. The only models you have in your collection that I dont have are ones that I desperately want! Props look great as David says, especially the couple around the Merc surfer wagon.

@kevins Kevin, I like your discipline, I too have limited space, but just today I was on Ebay looking at a few models   Nonoise   your display looks great and it makes it so much more interesting when utilising of a few props...

Kevins, love your collection. Nice touch applying stickers to the back of the cabinets.

Kevins, I really like the way you have your cars displayed.  It's eye-catching!

Just my suggestion, don't cut yourself short feeling your collection is "embarrassingly small".

In my opinion, it's not the size of a collection that matters, it's the amount of joy the collection brings to you that matters.

Whether it is 40 cars, 400 cars, 4,000 (or more) cars, if they bring a smile to your eyes and heart, that's perfect.  THANKS for sharing!
