Anybody going to the big model/diecast expo in Detroit Sunday at the MaComb Center? This is an exceptional show with many vendors, a model show and usually some real cars. I've picked up several DM/FM/CP and other diecast there, usually for great prices. Curt and I will be there and meeting up with some other friends, generally for our lunch get together to catch up and just have fun.😊

Geno, If I lived closer, I would have definitely been there. Sounds like a great show. Wish they did more of these in the South. They use to do a lot of model railroad/hobbies shows in the 90's, but they basically have gone away. As most are aware we grew up building model kits that we purchased from chore money or odd jobs for $1- $2. Model railroad engines in HO could be bought for $12-$20. Now models are $40 and up and Railroad engines are over $200. If a child is not doing a hobby with a parent, then they will never experience the joy we had.

@carsman1958 I hear ya John. I tried to get my grandsons interested in building models, no interest. But they do want my diecast collection when I'm gone. Go figure, lol.
