Question on the Delahaye: Mine came yesterday. The only issue is that the piece of chrome on the bottom of the passenger's side fender was loose in the box. I think it is an easy fix, but how do I get it out of the box without damaging something. I see that there are side pieces and probably also a back piece that are removeable. are the ribbons then used to lift it out? Otherwise, this is one outstanding model, and I'm really glad I decided to get it.
Ist remove the 2 side pieces of cardboard...
then pull on both ends of the ribbon it is wrapped under the base
Ryan, Thanks. I am blown away by the model. The paint is deep and perfect. It is a real gem.
I can actually reach around it and feel the small holes where the chrome piece is attached. A bit of crazy glue gel in a couple of spots, carefully applied with a toothpick should do the job.:)
