My parents had a car like this but it was a stationwagon. Thanks for sharing this.

Jim, can you do a favor for us challenged folks that don't know what year and car it is. Could you include that in the wonderful pics. LOL

I'm wondering if that's my old car. I had one exactly like that when I lived in Philly. That picture was taken in Wildwood wasn't it?
P.S. Hey Smitty, where's my souvenir handbook?? :))

Also, this one's a Nova, not a Chevelle.

I Had one of those new in 1966.........

Mine was yellow with black interior with the L79 350 HP 327 With 4 speed and 411 gears. You had to be carefull on wet roads because it would get sideways on dry pavement if you nailed it.I sure miss those days!:D

Simply Wonderful looking "66"... Grandma bought a 67 new, 327, Dad just didn't understand why she didn't buy a 6 cylinder (remember, little old ladies didn't need all that power, save the gas)... for me when grandma died and the Nova was mine, I was glad for the 327. The color was Gold and sported an automatic. Sold that car four years ago ... yes, I know, should of kept it. I remember the young kid that bought it, was amazed he was only 21. I drilled him good, wanted the car taken care of, after all it was in the family for over 33 years. I asked him why he didn't want something else newer, he said he just loved that style and wanted it. Maybe I just didn't want to sell it ... oh, for the good old days.
