Franklin Mint's copper bodies 1921 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost was quite a stunning model for its time and still looks great today. I can't imagine how blinding the 1:1 would be in full sunlight but I love how the reflections play about this model's body. Every different angle to the sun produces such a unique visual display.
That looks great. I always thought this model was very interesting, but I never got one.

Hard to believe that I have had this model for about thirty years. Rich, as usual, your pictures are outstanding and bring out the reflections, you refer to, superbly.

FM was killing those Rolls Royce models back then. They were certainly among their best models at the time.
This car for me was the reason to start collecting 1:24 scale models 3 years ago. I saw it together with 9 other classic FM models and was in love, bought this one for 30 dollars because it was missing the left door lamp and wire. But once at it's new home i did not miss the lamp because all the other details like the beautifull wheels take all the attention. Really beautiful photos Rich 👍 Alltough Danbury made more detailed and less fragile cars than FM i still love those detailed oldtimers made by FM in the era 1900-1940, especially the 2 RRs of 1907. And because they are so fragile its getting more and more difficult to find complete ones.
Richard great pics of a fine model. This brought a smile to my face and I’m happy to have a copy in my fleet! 10 stars
