Reflections on a Copper Rolls... [PIC]

I have this and it’s a great model, however here’s a bit of FYI.  While they advertise it as body of real copper the only real copper is the bonnet!  The fenders and body of the car are PLASTIC!   It’s chromed plastic then they put a copper tinted clear over it to make it appear like real copper!  How do I know? I bought a brand new one and it had a scratch on the body. I thought oh ok it’s copper I’ll just buff it out using polish. Um after a few seconds it revealed a chromed plastic finish!!! It was a WTF moment for sure!  I called the FM store I bought it from and explained exactly what happened.  The manager said sure just bring it in I’ll exchange it no worries we will get credit.  I thanked him and got a “good” example.  They did a convincing job though, but I wish it was real copper through n through
