Not such a bad move long term when Shambles Auto Parts Div., becomes the "go to" supplier of '57 used and reconditioned parts.
Short term tho, Connie is tying up quite a bit of establishment capital. The risk is worth taking.
Of more concern is Connie's hiring on of what seems to be on a temporary basis, a whole slew of handsome young men who Connie trains individually as parts assistants.

Shambles started out with a salvage yard specializing in high performance cars of the 50s, 60s and 70s. The business took off and he hired first one, then two specialty mechanics with vast experience on high performance engines of that era.
