Repaint DM 56 Chrysler 300B.....what do you think?

I have owned the black one and sold it some years ago. The red one will have the same tan interior and I am happy it will be on its way soon. Here is the reason.

In 2005, I needed my 64 Riviera to have the drive shaft to be checked and I have been referred to the best shop in town.

A red/tan interior non restored 56 300B was waiting for the same testing along my Riviera. It was the first time I saw a never restored 56 300B as was my Riviera, both in show room condition.

This car was magnificent and I am not a Mopar fan.

I am glad the repaint will be red with tan interior.

In my opinion, it will be more attractive than the black one

Most all 300 Letter Cars, '55 to '62, had the beige leather interior...

...exceptions of course are trim code "999" cars that had special ordered interiors. Letter Cars at this time were assembled on the Imperial assembly line which better facilitated special orders.

John, correct you are. I had the pleasure back in 1978 to see up close my

Boss at the time drove his '60 300F convertible. It was red with tan interior.
it had the swivel seats up front, and was long and sleek. I'd never seen one
before. this car was original and had been stored and babied all it's life. The
red
with tan was beautiful! it was a very dramatic car. and I was 21, and devoted
to
muscle cars, Camaro's Corvettes, cuda's Challengers. but that day, I was a fan
of
these big cars forever. The features, details, styling, especially the colors was
a real eye opener. I'll never forget that car! Everything was big. Dash was
opulent, creative, the doors, the engine was incredible with it's long ram
tubes! I cannot wait until DM does a '60.
They all have been great so far, but
this is one 300 they MUST do. Sorry i digress. the red and tan color combo is
the best in my opinion.

Do you believe they stuck to the same color pattens .....

for five years? I am just asking because I am not a Chrysler fan and I don't have any data in my library to conclude on your info that all 300's were fitted as beige interior from factory.

i'm getting one! I missed out on the Black one so....

NO it's not a perfect model, the proportions are a little off and what not, but sitting on the shelf it will be outstanding!
