I have a few PanAm vehicles in 1/43 scale.
JB, never had the chance to fly PanAm....I understand it was the best of the best.

I knew of it`s amenities primarily from the pages of Playboy Magazine......these days, even an opportunity to attend the "Second Coming" would be a no-go if it meant flying the friendly skies of "Stinking Meatbus Airlines"....
....SMA : "we can always add a few more seats" 😑
Great Apache from M2. I have this one as part of my collection as well.
JB, I agree with your thoughts completely. Starting in the sixties my job required extensive travel and at that time air travel was civilized...it went downhill from there.

You can still fly Pan Am today! On a sound stage called Air Hollywood in Pacoima California you can enjoy the Pan Am Experience, a three-hour flight on a '70's themed 747, with a 5-course gourmet meal Pan Am style. We flew Clipper Class, $275/person, a bit pricy, but worth it! First Class is a bit more and the upstairs lounge is the most expensive.

that`s too cool !!!.....what a fun and memorable experience that would be (even more so if self medication à la the 80`s,were allowed 😆 )
