The Firebird is a really good model, except the bonnet has about an eighth of an inch warp in it. Was going to try to get it out but I think I'll just display it with the hood open. Great decals with this kit.

Absolutely love these old tractors, imagine trying to slog through muddy fields with those wheels? These are great kits, I have 2 more variants coming. Quite complex, includes around 150 parts. Would love to "grubby" it up, but cant get to my main model store for materials at the moment because of infrastructure works here in Melbourne making cross city travel a nightmare. So this one is in "showroom" condition. The old historian in me is trying to conjure up what a 1938 German LANZ tractor showroom would look like!

Great build on the Trans Am, but, for me, the star of this show is the Lanz!! Terrific build & paintwork on it and I love the detail - especially a removable flywheel cover to show the inner workings!

thanks Tony, the tractors are absolutely fabulous additions to a scale model vehicle collection. All started with me adding 1/24 kits after seeing the great pics of your 1/16s.

Both are are pretty darn sweet Geoff. I think that might be inherent with the Firebird. I had the same thing, put it in hot water and let it warm, twisted it into submission lol. This is how it looks now.
