I know we've seen pretty much all of the diecast so that's why i've been posting pics of 1/24 builds so you have something different to look at. This one is also built from this 1/24 Monogram kit, with a conversion to stock. The '66 is my all time favorite Chevelle so I wanted a stock version for my collection. I know Maisto makes one but I really didn't like the looks of it. Thanks for looking guys.

From this kit.

That is a great looking model.  Thanks for sharing Geno!  I've never learned the talent of building a nice model.  I think it takes a special skill and it's one I don't have.  The other thing I don't have is the patience.  That's the reason already built diecast became so much a favorite of mine.

George is quite right.... it is a great-looking model and a fine build here ! In 1/18 scale Ertl Authentics has a 1966 Chevelle and I have one in black. These Chevelles are are stylish and powerful and make for a terrific car and model in any scale.

Beautiful Geno. I built that kit years ago but not as stock and nowhere near as well done. I owned that model year in convertible SS form so had a great attachment. Matchbox Collectibles made a very nice stock 1/43 version.

Geno:  I built it just as shown on the box.  You did a great job converting it to a stock model.

Nice build Geno. I like that you built it stock.

Thanks Bob, I used a Monogram 1/24 '64 GTO chassis to build it stock since they both used the same chassis in real life.
