I always liked these. Wish they'd do a Grabber version. I saw one at a car show recently with a 5.0 Coyote stuffed in the engine bay. It looked and sounded wicked.😊

For a cheap $10 car, it really is nice.

@carsman1958  It is an amazing model John. I know Motormax did a Maverick, but it's got those ugly battering ram bumpers. Now the '71 Comet they make is pretty decent.😊

Will the 71 Comet bumpers fit the Maverick?

your pics always represent the quality of the models far better than any of the ebay sellers Geno. It looks outstanding, thanks.

@grockwood  Gary, I've seen those and they are pretty pricey for basically the same model with some minor detail changes. I'd give 20 bucks for one like I did this one but definitely not the nearly 200 bucks after factoring in the shipping. That is crazy lol.🤯 As far as bumper fitment, the rear bumpers are the same, the front bumper on the Comet has a pronounced beak in the middle, it may fit but would look odd.😊

Grock there is a great seller in France where Geno and I, and I'm sure others have bought from called Jumajo. Their prices are always the lowest around and their service, packaging etc outstanding. Heres their Maverick

@geoff-jowett Thanks Geoff. You are correct. All of my Salvat branded models have come from them. Exceptional service in every aspect. And, like you said. Generally the best price, even including shipping.💯😊

Thanks  for the info Geoff.   I bought my Maverick and the 56 Chevy about a year ago from a U.S, dealer, but don't remember the price.    I have bought from Jumajo and also another French dealer on Ebay named " Free shipping on diecast model car"

This model is nice but I'm waiting for a Maverick Grabber to be done with faux dual exhaust and Cobra emblems; known as the Kuvakas Edition.

@jack-dodds  Jack, I  have considered getting another and making a Grabber. I have a resin Grabber hood and Keith Marks makes the decals.
