Yes sir - one of their finest! Excellent photos Geno!!!
Love them “Buhogs” Geno, great pics!
Love the 4-door Geno! DM's attention to detail on this model is incredible. The front doors open outside the fenders without any large dogleg hinges, just like pretty much all cars did back then. For example, my '66 Chevy wagon's front doors open outside the fenders.
Also, the grill on the Roadmaster is a work of art, down to the year and model name in the grill center.
Just curious if anyone knows. Did any other car manufacturer beside Buick ever put the model year on their cars? I think Buick was the only one, and only in 1956.
@pete-rovero Pete, Buick is the only one I know of as well, and yes, only for '56.
I to wish for more 4drs. This is one I didn't get so always appreciate members sharing theirs.
Have this and the convertible and both are arguably the best that DM offered.
I'm very much a 2-door person but this one was awesome!
have it but missed the convertible 😊 😒
Bummer that you missed out on the convertible. It is absolutely one of DM's best! It's in in my favorites row on my collector self.

We didn't get many 4 door cars from either Mint, but DM killed it on this one. Sad that DM closed up shop before we got a hardtop coupe version.
Geno, your pics are outstanding! You've highlighted perfectly the excellence of this DM model. It is as nice a model as they could give us back in the day. Ironically, I remember some folks here on the Forum complaining when it was released that they were disappointed with the top.

No argument from me on that. I will forever miss the 1:24 scale mints. They left us with wanting so much more!!!
