Samson
When one can pick up 1:24 scale Hot Wheels monster trucks that have some defects or missing parts for a mere dollar, it behooves any dedicated, addicted, determined and self-respecting diecast doctor to step in and save as many patients as possible. Such was the case for "Samson". I thought this one might be too far gone to save being that it was missing one complete arm and hand. Making an impression with molding clay using the good arm, a casting was made with water putty, knowing full well that the hand casting would be the opposite of what was needed. Not having any decals to add to the newly constructed arm didn't further the look either, so one has to assume Samson broke the restraining chains loose. Admittedly, what's there now is far better than nothing at all.
Thanks for looking...
