Had a Walmart green convertible painted black. Added a spoiler.

Looks good Hollis. You know, we have Walmart's all over here in Minnesota, and for the life of me, I've never seen any of these "cheap" models that so many collectors post and talk about here over the years. They must only be at Walmart's in certain sectors of the country. I check often at various Walmart's here, and never any luck.

@georgeschire George these models are also sold by several companies through their catalogs and email ads. One such company is DieCast Direct but there are many others.

@georgeschire George, this was the green FM model sold through Walmart back in the day. I believe they also done a Mustang, Corvette and '57 Chevy as Walmart exclusives.

Still never saw them Walmart. As I said, I visit most of the Walmart stores in our area, as my wife buys Yarn, so it's a reason to go there. But never any model cars in the toy department. Oh there are some goofy not-collectible cars, but never any of the ones that I've seen on these Forum's over the decades.

@georgeschire Yeah, finding decent ones at Walmart seem to be hit or miss. It's been awhile since I've found something I'm interested in at ours, or surrounding ones as far as that goes.😟

yep! I have the Cuda and a 57 Chev. I'm sure Tony and others would recall the controversy surrounding the very idea of Walmart selling precision Franklin Mint Models!
