With due respect to Tony, Peter and Myron.

Yes they were the guys who's pictures made me by the cars but, it was "Impala Patty's" pictures that made me believe that as a member of the forums I too could take pictures.

I remember the first time I saw the posters she did for Brian at West Coast Precision Diecast (even though he decided not to use them for whatever reason), I was really impressed. She has a nice feel for photography and dioramas. Not to mention the cars. It would be nice to see them one more time.

All the best Patty. Have a nice rest of your life and do come back to visit.

Jimbo

Patty, even if you liquidate your collection, I hope that means you'll still participate ...

... in the hobby! You're still a valued and respected collector and I'm sure we all would love to see your contributions, knowledge, and opinions. I know I certainly would.

Your fact is wrong.

Patty had to sell her cars to pay medical bills. Like many GUYS on this board she had a crises and shared it wth us. I sure don't remember any drama, any more than the GUYS I mentioned.

She paid her bills and started collecting again. This time is not for medical reasons, she simply is getting out of the hobby. NOT the same. Your facts are wrong.

Also, she didn't exit. She stayed on these boards.

Patty, I have enjoyed your participation over the years and your love for those great Impalas. I even remember Impala Patty's website of years ago.

Good luck to you and come back soon. Ignore those who rarely post but snark!

John is right Miles. Patty had to sell some stuff to pay medical bills. You are way off base here and owe Patty an apology.

No matter the reason................

I wish Patty the best to come if she made the decision to switch to another hobby.

We can come and go from this hobby and nothing is wrong. Nobody deserve judgement.

Some people on this board don't miss an opportunity to showcase their wealth and egos as much in pictures and words that most of the time are just plain arrogant.

This board is about diecast models.......Please.

I'm sorry to hear this, Patty. I certainly hope that you will continue to visit and participate here !

You know, one surely does not have to really own any models at all to still enjoy the hobby in other ways and take part in all the talk amd discussion. And you can definitely post again some of your photographs and scenes ....... those are always a treat and new people here have not seen them yet !

Miles I'm surprised at your comment????

Your post reads as though Patty has made up being diabetic or is stating that she is selling her models to gain sympathy! I dont think either is accurate. We have just a bout ZERO female collectors here, Sheila unfortunately has passed away and Patty is leaving the hobby (for her own reasons) and this is how we treat a lady???? NOT very gentile, I'm sorry! Patty whatever path or road which guides you I hope that you find strength, peace and happiness! I know your one of the good ones here and wish you all the best! Impala Patty ROCKS! Smile

I'm not sure what he meant Doug, but I DOUBT it was targeted at you!

You post pics of the lovely BB from time to time, hardly "showing ones wealth" LOL thats a beauty for sure but its not a million dollar +++ Duesenberg or Caddy V 16 or what have you. And I know you post pics of it because A) Your proud of the car and rightfully so (its a beauty) and B) You know WE know and love the BB so... Again I dont think YOU were being targeted here. Not sure WHO he meant the post for??? Wanna share WHO you were refering to Richard?
