Some times those warnings are a little dinghy.
growing up within a short drive of Lake Erie,we`d hear,on the radio, those small-craft warnings pretty regularly in season.......and we`d sit outside on our concrete porch to get fully immersed in the lightning/thunderstorms.....looking back now,we were all somewhat dingy
It was a chilly and quiet evening down at the lakeside trailer park and the grandkids were bored and acting up again. To help his harried daughter, semi-retired cobbler Willy Schumacher, recalling Ed Sullivan's classic line from his show, decided to create a "really big shoe" to entertain them. It would help to distract him from the snorts of his grumpy wife Portia and her pet pig Porky anyway; both of whom were wearing a little thin this particular evening.
