Something a bit niche. Executive "Moloney"-ish 1979 stretch Cadillac limousine .

Hello !
Sharing with you my latest Cadillac conversion/restauration. It's a conversion that I had found, was in a decent shape but needed a total restauration, as the model was showing age and unaccurate doors and roof. Cause of its extra long wheelbase, It couldn't be treated as a "regular" series 75 limousine so I thought about a "Moloney-ish" conversion. To get closer to an exclusive "embassy"-style limousine, this Cadillac received new sculpted door and windows design treatment, sculpted front and rear shock absorber lines, new higher roof with larger B and C pillars, opera lights, detailed interior, new chromes, new paint and hand made mirror finish, a 0.2mm black strip water decal have been also added. Hope you'll like it !

Is that 1:24 scale or 1:25. My guess is 1:25. You definitely improved it.

I used to see that style of Cadillac Limo in NYC all the time back in the 80s. The was it started out, (blue pics) it looked ridiculous, like something a 10 year old would of cobbled up. Well done as always.

Hello Phil, thank you !. It's 1/25 scale. That limo is made from 2 1979 Coupe Deville Jo-Han's.

The first transformation was indeed basic . Apart of a very well done and invisible surgery between the 2 bodies, the previous builder had left the regular Coupe Deville's doors ( which are larger than Sedans or Limos ), as well as the roof and Deville's rear pillars ( which again, are totally different from other series ). Result was awkward...

But I knew it was a perfect candidate for something else! ๐Ÿ˜‰
