sorry.....tough day
I've always found your posts to be entertaining... don't stop
Sometimes I'm disappointed when my posts get few or no comments. Like yourself, I put time and effort into this hobby and appreciate those that do the same. I enjoy seeing posts that are creative, interestingly staged and nicely photographed. Some here only comment but never post photos. Some here don't like my risqu? humor. Some don't like my wrecked models. I'm still gonna post some, but the subject will be "Viewer Discretion Advised" 😉
I, for one, have enjoyed your little car pics. Your characters...
..are no different than the 'bunnies' in some of John Merritt's photos or the crazy images of Rich Sufficool's vast collection that we have all learned to love for 20+ years.
So long as 1:24th scale model cars are in a family-oriented viewing arena, it would be nice for you to forge on, the rest is a welcome side dish.
John, I too am a new member and appreciate your submissions.
keep em coming!
I would keep posting your pictures, we are all have different tastes and appreciate different, settings. I think Hollis has been posting here a long time. It wasn't until he posted his Dodge Super Bee with white lettered tires I felt the need to comment.
Plus I really don't have anything of interest to add so why should I bore people.

Thank you all,for the words of wisdom and reason next time I`m having a "get off my lawn" moment,I`ll go outside and yell at real kids......just like a sane person might do
I Do Not
And no doubt probably won't. There is just an "attitude" that seeps through that I find disquieting and divisive.
But of course, this is just life happening as it does and I'm sure it won't affect the forum.

This is what you said to John Barry. I could say the same about you, David. You never post any photos but are quick to criticize others'. You insulted me from the outset. What's your problem?
I spend a little time each day enjoying all the pictures & comments on the 1:24 Forum. Keep it up !
John, I seemed to have missed your post-as there is nothing there now, but I am getting that maybe there is some unhappiness about some of your posts.
Well I say, forge on. Now I don't always follow what you are posting, I've scratched my head a few times, but all good.
During these troubling times I find the moments I am looking at your photos enlightening and refreshing.
I am one of those guys that has been on this Forum for many, many years-joined back in 1999. I've seen lots go on here, many folks have come and gone.
While this sight used to be hopping, the end of Precision 1:24, slowed things down.
When I started posting my "Daily Dose" several years ago, I would sometimes be the only one posting something new for days.
It's great that we have new stuff to look at, from yourself, John Shamblin, Galen Laird and others.
I welcome each new post and look forward to the time I spent on this Forum looking at others collections and ideas. No matter what it's about.
So please keep them coming, if it makes you happy to put it together, we will see that in your efforts, and for me, that is the most important thing. The love of the hobby and our collections shows in our photos. I know that's how it works for me.
And besides, right now, my time is so limited I have no time for new stuff, just recycling the old ones and reworking photos I took years ago and never posted. So your fresh and interesting ideas have gotten my interest for sure.

Well said John; you're the consummate gentleman.
