Speaking of Corvette's.....................I just got an e-mail and pictures from Mint Models on their LE of 750 prototype. Black is definately beautiful and this car should be considered by all. Can't wait to get a review on this one from Tony.

Isn't this just an LE repaint of the Monaco Orange 69?

Hmmm, looks like it. I have the orange one, and I like it a lot despite its older tech.

Part of that is the color--to me the orange just suits this car. My biggest gripe are the wire wheels, which lack depth. I wonder has anyone tried doing a black wash on these with any success? I would think that could make a big difference in the model's realism.

Pete, they are not wire wheels - they are stock Corvette wheel covers.
