A couple of days ago I purchased a 1:24-scale model of the Vietnamese Vinfast VF8 from Sam Ye at Paudi Models and today I received it.
Very nicely done model, in a dark blue paint, with no paint flaws.
Clearly a model for the collector under the Vinfast-name as it has a nice cardboard outer box and styrofoam inner box.
Also, a small instruction and a stylus to open the doors can be found inside.
Opening a small niche in my American-car-collection, as this model depicts a car from a country you wouldn't expect.
But honestly I don't expect the real car to last long here in the Netherlands as very few of them are sold.
Is the Vinfast available in your country ?
Here is the model, with a picture from Paudi Models from the Internet.
Looks a lot like a 2025 Chevrolet Equinox here in America.
It kinda looks like my neighbors Buick Envision. Neat model.😎
Yes Joop. I've probably seen 3 here in the Southern California area. Anaheim area and Westminster & Garden Grove which both have large Asian populations. 👍
My observations are that I see mostly Asian makes here e.g. Lexus, Toyota, Honda, Mazdas are very popular too.
We're lucky here in that there is never any issue with finding a good Asian restaurant.

@100ford2003 Vietnamese restaurants are nice pho a change of cuisine Steve.
looks fine. I believe Vinfast are quite a success story in Vietnam. They are not sold here in Australia. Steve, Jack if you're ever over this way can I recommend
Superb food, great service. Run by very nice people.
Never heard of it. It's a nice looking small SUV and I agree with John & Geno - it looks like the small GM crossovers, Chevy & Buick, similar platforms.
