This model from TFM was such a surprise in its design, parts count and execution. From its simulation of machine turned metal on the dash and engine compartment to the fine metal support springs under the driver's seat (which I discovered 2 years later), this tiny model is an absolute gem.

Excellent photography of a great little car. One of my favorites in the collection. In fact, we watched some terrific footage of the real article in action last night in Episode 15 of Agatha Christie's "Poirot"; "The Disappearance of Mr. Davenheim".

@bob-jackman For me, the ultimate expression of "Steampunk" is Walt Disney's "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" Nautilus submarine.

This a model I made. Crappy picture because I shot through the glass rather than get it out of the cabinet.
