In any discussion among us old car model collectors, a list of the "Best of the Best" 1:24 scale diecast replica's can get long, as personal opinions, likes and dislikes and memories make every model have meaning and a place in collectors hearts.  Certainly though, when any such list is compiled, there are some 1:24's that just have to be at or near the top of any list, if that list is going to really be a "Best of the Best".  I'd say it is safe to say that the model featured in the Brochure below is one of those models.

Danbury Mint's

"Limited Edition" 1956 BUICK ROADMASTER CONVERTILBE

This Brochure is perhaps the most inviting of any that Danbury Mint diecast ever offered, as the model and its many features and options literally jump off the pages.  The eye-catching two-tone color combination of TAHITI CORAL and DOVER WHITE is totally 1956 period correct.  With the TOP UP or TOP DOWN option, highly detailed engine, opening trunk with a spare tire, and an interior that once you're in it, you wont' want to get out.  The wheels, white-wall tires, and the chrome on the outside will have on-lookers putting sunglasses even as they envision cruising down an oceanside drive.  On that "Best of the Best" list, this model just might be NUMBER ONE!

A true high water mark in model making. Everything about this model is perfect especially the subject matter.
