I just finished this kit, but does not look anything like yours.  Yours is spectacular.  My paint fisheyed even after cleaning the plastic.

Thanks guys, I really do appreciate it. The only kit I've built as pictured on the box is the GSX.

@geno

Do you have any painting tips you'd like to share ?

I paint with factory colors obtained from automotive stores. I use the proper primer coat and pay attention to instructions.

I take my time... PATIENCE is what's needed...at least I think so !

Then, when ready for color coats, after choosing the primer color, it's time for fun !!

Even here in SoCal where the weather is pretty constant and 'friendly' for painting, I soak my spray cans in a warm water container for 10-15mins before my spray sessions.

When it comes to other model parts... I spray from a 2-3 ft distance to achieve a more textured finish.

Like a vinyl top or textured interior.

I LOVE my hobby...or should I call it my passion.

I love seeing all your build pics !!

You're an inspiration to us all !

Geno, great job on this GSX! I love all of your detail work, it brings back memories of the GS455 I had for 22 years.

We're those doorhandles shaped like 1:1's or did you drill them out ?  I'm not familiar with this kit ?

@100ford2003

Steve, it was gold with a brown vinyl top and matching interior.  15" Buick rallys with white outline tires.  I have some better pictures somewhere.  Sold it a few years ago now resides somewhere in the East.
