Steve, it was gold with a brown vinyl top and matching interior. 15" Buick rallys with white outline tires. I have some better pictures somewhere. Sold it a few years ago now resides somewhere in the East.
That's a bad azz Buick ! Thanks for the pics Pete.
Again, thanks for the interest guys. Pete, thats a beautiful Buick, WOW!!!!! Steve, it sounds like you do pretty much the same as what I do lol. Then I just wet sand with 6,8,12000 grit sanding cloth in soapy water. I then use Turtle Wax liquid polishing compound to polish them out. As far as door handles, I sand those off, A little tip. I pick up scrap 1/24 diecast parts cars off of Ebay and strip them for parts that I can use for model building. Or sometimes I do come across damaged parts cars at model shows. That's where the door handles came from, it was a scrap GMP GTO. The engine in the Desperado Panel truck I posted a few days ago, came from a scrap Crown Premiums Boss 429 Mustang. The Buick GS convertible I'm building now I picked up 2 DM '69 Camaro doors at a show, I will use the door handles from those for the convertible. Anything else I might be able to help with please ask, I will if I can lol. Blessings guys.
