This replacement for the first Hong Qi (Red Flag) kept all the styling cues of the original state limousine but now looking on steroids. Where the original (CA770) that was developed in 1966 used either a 340 Chrysler V8 and later a 351 Ford Windsor, the CA7600 series was now powered by a 6.0 liter V12. This J-variant Parade or Inspection car dwarfs even the Maybach and its weight is best measured by tonnage. According to Forbes, it's China's most expensive vehicle at 5 million yuan or $760,000. It's used by general staff to inspect large military formations of the main PLA divisions and by Chairman Xi Jinping to address huge celebratory crowds.
