In 1935, the Emperor of Japan received his Mercedes=Benz 770 Grosser Pullman limousine decked out with the Imperial 16 petal chrysanthemum symbols of the "Chrysanthemum Throne", a symbol of Japanese emperors for thousands of years. This model by Franklin Mint was adequate for its time period but somewhat underwhelming in comparison to the Xonex/ Paul's Model Art offering.
